More Cartman pics

Happy Bloggiversary to me!
Happy Bloggiversary to me!
Happy Bloggiversary, dear Moonlight Stitches!
Happy Bloggiversary to me!
For my real Bloggiversary, you get a pattern. ;) Happy Day!

I was sitting in my car listening to the radio the other day because we do not have trustworthy radio reception in the house and I wanted to hear just one more thing. So, as I sat there, I finished the decrease rounds and the pom pom for my cartman beanie. I guess cartman appeals to me so much because he is so outrageous. My defunct air freshener does show that my personality has balance between cartman's appeal and the desire to only keep nice people around. This lightly hidden bite to my personality is also illustrated by my enjoyment of Happy Bunny.

As I got shutter happy while gathering pre- and post-pompom pics, I began to feel like I was channeling the director of photography from the Alanis Morisette video for Ironic.

La la la - "It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures" - la la LA - Alanis Morisette

(Please forgive the visual redundancy...I just love that last picture on the right.)

Here is the pattern as given in the podcast:
Materials: One Skein Lamb's Pride Bulky - Lemon Drop
One Skein Lamb's Pride Bulky - Aztec Turquoise
Tools: one #10 16" Circular Needle
four #10 double pointed needles

Med. (lg.)

With lemon drop, cast on 72 (80).

Join round.

Work in K2, P2 for 10 rounds.

Switch to Aztec Turq.

Knit all stitches in all rounds for 20 rounds of stockinette.

Start decrease countdown.

It goes like this: Repeat each instruction all the way around:
Switch to 3 DPNS.
K6, K2tog

K5, K2tog
Knit a plain round.
K4, K2tog
Knit a plain round.
K3, K2tog
Knit a plain round.
K2, K2tog

K1, K2tog

Now Last round - K2tog all the way around.

Cut a tail. Feed the tail through last 9 (10) sts. Pull up tight and hide the tail inside through the center of the crown.

Add a lemon drop pom pom in your favorite method.
